OTRILA continues to write success stories – successfully organizes BalkanSplash Bootcamp 2026

Following the successful staging of the TEUTA CUP 2026 international swimming competition in Durrës, the OTRILA Water Sports Club continued its organizational momentum by hosting the BalkanSplash Bootcamp 2026. This event served as an international educational camp focused on advancing the skills within various water sports disciplines. The Bootcamp took place over two days, on June 20 and 21, in Banjë e Pejës.

Organized under the umbrella of the BalkanSplash project, the camp was designed to foster cooperation and development among the sporting communities of Kosovo and Albania. The gathering brought together a diverse group of participants, including coaches, active athletes, and emerging young trainers. The curriculum was intensive, featuring dedicated theoretical modules alongside practical training sessions.

Participants engaged deeply in the disciplines of Finswimming and Water Polo, receiving specialized instruction designed to elevate technical proficiency. A total of 23 individuals attended the camp, representing a commitment to grassroots development within the region. The initiative underscores the commitment of the OTRILA Water Sports Club to promoting high standards in regional sportsmanship.

By facilitating this international platform, the BalkanSplash Bootcamp aims to build capacity and ensure the sustained growth of water sports across participating nations. The event successfully merged athletic competition with structured educational development, solidifying cross-border cooperation in the field of aquatic sports.
