The SPB Skopje announced that on June 28, 2026, at approximately 1:20 AM, local police detained an individual identified as S.G. (51) in the village of Taor, located in Skopje. The detention followed suspicions linking S.G.
to the death of J.G. (48). According to reports from the police, the investigation began on June 26, 2026, when S.G.
initially reported to authorities that J.G. had left their shared residence. The situation escalated the following day, June 27, 2026, when S.G.
reported finding J.G.’s body near the village of Letevci, also within the Skopje area. Upon the discovery, police officers and the public prosecutor arrived at the scene. The body, noted to be in a state of decomposition, was subsequently sent for an autopsy order issued by the prosecutor’s office.
Following official interrogation procedures, S.G. was detained. Furthermore, the investigation led to the arrest of three other individuals: Z.M.
(62), G.B. (64), and M.D. (69), who are all connected to the ongoing case.
Authorities confirmed that the investigation remains active, with the police coordinating closely with the public prosecutor to determine the full circumstances surrounding the death.
