Vjosa Osmani will be elected as the President of the Republic of Kosovo on March 4th, 2026. The decision will be made during a meeting of the Presidential Council. Albulena Haxhiu, a member of the Presidential Council, will preside over the election ceremony.
The event is scheduled to begin at 16:00 in the Presidential Office. President Osmani issued a statement confirming the upcoming election. “At 16:00, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, will be elected as the new President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu.
The ceremonial act will take place in the Presidential Office,” the statement read. The election process will unfold within the meeting of the Presidential Council. Both the announcement of the election results and the formal selection of Vjosa Osmani as President will occur during this council meeting.
The ceremony itself will mark the official transition of leadership within the Republic of Kosovo.
