Skopje Man Arrested Following Cannabis Cultivation Discovery
Skopje – Police in Skopje apprehended V.V. (50), a resident of the Aerodrom Airport municipality, on April 20, 2026. The arrest was made by officers from the Skopje Serious Crime Brigade (SPB).
A search of V.V.’s residence, conducted pursuant to a prior judicial order, resulted in the discovery and seizure of a significant quantity of illicit substances and equipment. Authorities recovered 41 vases containing cannabis plants, alongside powder substance, marijuana, and various capsules. Additionally, the search uncovered reflectors and other materials commonly used in cannabis cultivation.
The Ministry of Interior (MPB) confirmed the findings. Following the completion of the case documentation, a criminal complaint will be formally filed against V.V. This incident highlights ongoing law enforcement efforts to combat illegal drug activities within the Skopje region.
