This suggestion emerged after a meeting attended by Rama, the Mayor of Drenë, Ramiz Lladrovci, and the Mayor of Lipjan, Imri Ahmeti, which focused on the current state of sanitation services. During the discussion, Rama suggested that a model granting each commune direct responsibility and dedicated teams for local cleaning efforts would be the most effective approach for managing the service.
Lladrovci and Ahmeti met with Rama, though representatives from Bulliqi, Prebreza, and Thaçi were absent. Addressing the group, Rama stated that the optimal structure would involve establishing cleaning operations regionally and communally. He emphasized that empowering each commune with its own dedicated team was key to efficient service delivery.
This proposal aims to decentralize management, ensuring that local authorities have direct oversight and accountability for the cleanliness of their respective territories.
