Rama and Mihali clash again with harsh public accusations

Pristina’s Mayor, Përparim Rama, has once again publicly addressed Dejona Mihali, an official from the Vetëvendosje Movement, alleging that she is interfering with state processes. In his latest public statement, Rama questioned Mihali’s involvement in matters he characterized as falling under various institutional investigations. Rama questioned the nature of Mihali’s communications, pointing out that despite her lack of an official state function, she has reportedly been in contact with the former head of KEK concerning operational and decision-making issues.

Specifically, Rama challenged Mihali, asking the public to explain the basis for her communications with the former KEK leader regarding such matters, given her non-governmental role. Furthermore, the Mayor addressed allegations concerning his own name appearing in investigations related to state reserves and other management concerns. These multiple public exchanges highlight ongoing tensions between political figures and their differing views on the proper scope of institutional involvement in state governance.

Rama’s repeated commentary continues to draw attention to the intersection of political activism and formal state procedures in Kosovo.
