The Directorate of Health in the Municipality of Mitrovica has announced a significant expansion of healthcare services at the Main Center for Family Medicine (QKMF) in Mitrovica. Effective June 29, 2026, the facility will begin offering essential curative services alongside minor surgical interventions. The scope of the new provision includes the treatment of minor injuries, specifically covering the processing, cleaning, and dressing of various minor bodily wounds. The Directorate of Health specified the operational details for the new service. It will be available from Monday through Friday, between the hours of 08:00 and 13:00, at the QKMF facility.

The directorate stated that this enhancement aims to improve local access to necessary medical care.
