Seven domestic violence reports in the last 24 hours, two people end up at the police station

MPB Macedonia has issued a statement detailing that two individuals were detained after the police received a total of seven domestic violence reports over the preceding 24 hours. The incidents spanned multiple dates and locations within Skopje. On June 10, 2026, at 3:10 AM, a woman aged 36 presented herself at the Skopje Police Station.

She reported that on the previous day, June 9, 2026, around 11:00 PM, she had been physically assaulted by her partner, identified as T.C. (45), with whom she was engaged in a short-term cohabitation arrangement. Another significant incident was reported on June 8, 2026.

At 8:04 PM, a 42-year-old man filed a report at the Skopje Police Station. He stated that in the Aerodrom municipality, his ex-partner, E.A., had physically attacked him and their two minor children using a hard object. Furthermore, the police action included an arrest on June 9, 2026.

At 3:00 PM, officers from the Skopje Police Station detained an individual identified as B.I. (36) from Skopje, following a preliminary report alleging physical assault. These multiple reports highlight continued police activity addressing domestic violence concerns across the region.
