Six pumping stations out of service in Gjakova, causing power outage

KRU “Gjakova” has issued a notice regarding planned service interruptions to its water supply network due to a scheduled power outage. The utility company has confirmed that multiple critical pumping stations will be temporarily non-operational for the duration of the disruption. According to the official announcement, the power interruption is scheduled to take place today, beginning at 09:00 and concluding at 15:30.

The service disruption will affect several key operational stations serving various localities within the Gjakova region. Specifically listed among the affected areas are Polluzhë, Pastaselë, Vrajak, Bratotin, Hereq, and Novosellë. As a direct consequence of the power loss impacting the pumping infrastructure, KRU “Gjakova” has advised the public that residents in the areas supplied by these specific stations should anticipate potential interruptions or a measurable reduction in the consistent supply of potable drinking water.

The company has issued a general advisory to consumers, requesting patience and understanding from the community as maintenance and restoration efforts are undertaken. Stakeholders are urged to plan accordingly for potential fluctuations in water availability throughout the afternoon hours.
