The CEC in the final phase of counting, votes by mail and those with conditions remain to be counted

The Central Election Commission has reported that the process of counting ballots from the September 7 elections is entering its final stages. Valmir Elezi, a member of the KQZ, provided updates detailing the progress across various voting sectors. According to Elezi, the counting process at the diplomatic missions has been concluded.

These missions accounted for votes cast by approximately 23 Kosovo citizens on April 6. Furthermore, the counting of ballots originating from the Municipality of Pristina was also scheduled to conclude on Saturday. The Commission detailed that the remaining tasks involve processing two specific categories of votes: those submitted via postal voting and those designated as conditional voting.

The statement emphasized that the culmination of the counting efforts was expected to occur throughout the day on Saturday, April 12. Overall, the Commission confirmed that the meticulous process of tallying the ballots is nearing its conclusion. The completion of the diplomatic mission counts and the municipal counts represents significant milestones in the overall tabulation effort.

Officials are now focused on finalizing the remaining votes to reach the comprehensive total for the election. This systematic counting process is crucial for determining the final results and ensuring the integrity of the electoral outcome.
