Officers from the Mobile Unit for Traffic Safety conducted a routine inspection on the Ilinden-Marinë road this evening, resulting in the detention of an individual identified as D.V., a 41-year-old resident of Skopje. During the control, officers found that the man was operating a passenger Opel vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Testing confirmed that the driver had a blood alcohol content of 2.13.
Furthermore, the individual was operating the automobile without possessing the required valid driver’s license. The vehicle, which bore Skopje license plates, was immediately impounded by authorities. Following the completion of the necessary documentation regarding the incident, the case details have been forwarded to the public prosecutor’s office.
