The recent exhumation of the remains of three individuals is anticipated to conclude the practice of clandestine burials in the areas of Kalludër e Vogël and Jabukë, located within Zubin-Potoku. Authorities have uncovered multiple sites containing human remains. Specifically, one location in Kalludër e Vogël yielded the remains of 13 people, while a separate site in Jabukë was found to contain 4 people.
Furthermore, an additional location within Kalludër e Vogël provided the remains of 6 people. Kushtrim Gara, representing the Government Commission for Missing Persons, confirmed that the process involving the exhumation, evaluation, and recovery of the mortal remains is expected to conclude by Friday at the latest. Gara stated that the comprehensive process of exhumation and the evaluation of the entire area of interest is anticipated to finish either today or by tomorrow.
These ongoing efforts are aimed at bringing closure to the identification and proper handling of the recovered human remains. The focus remains on completing the exhumation process across all designated sites to account for the people buried in these locations.
