The House of Culture in Fushë Kosovë is expected to be renovated after 27 years

The Mayor of the Municipality of Fushë Kosova, Valon Prebreza, announced that efforts are underway to renovate and reopen the local Culture House. During a recent inspection, Prebreza accompanied the Minister of Culture, Saranda Bogujevci, to assess the current condition of the facility. Prebreza noted that the cultural center, which serves the cultural life of the municipality, has reportedly lacked concrete renovation and maintenance efforts for the past 27 years.

Addressing the need for updated infrastructure, the Mayor stated that necessary steps have been agreed upon to ensure the facility’s complete reopening. He emphasized that these actions are vital for establishing better conditions for both cultural activities and the broader community within the municipality. The administration stressed that Fushë Kosova merits modern and appropriate spaces dedicated to supporting its arts, culture, and its citizenry.

The visit underscored a commitment to revitalizing the central cultural hub, ensuring that the physical space can adequately serve the artistic and social needs of the community moving forward. The focus remains on transforming the current state of the house into a functional center for local cultural engagement.
