The LDK will not enter the government without principles, says Haziri

Lutfi Haziri, the Deputy Chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), addressed the ongoing political climate, characterizing the nation as facing significant institutional and political instability. Haziri emphasized the urgent necessity of establishing functional state institutions within the Republic of Kosovo. Commenting on the potential for a coalition between the LDK and the Vetëvendosje Movement, Haziri indicated that while his party is prepared to engage in cooperation, any such arrangement must strictly adhere to established political principles.

He asserted that the LDK’s proposal centers on achieving institutional stability for the country. According to Haziri, the LDK’s current position in the opposition is a direct consequence of the electoral outcome from September 7th. He stated that the party’s role in opposition is rooted in those specific election results.

Consequently, Haziri maintained that the LDK will not enter a governing coalition unless its core political principles are fully respected. This statement underscores a firm boundary set by the party leadership regarding its participation in any future government formation.
