The only reason I have no communication with my children is because of the extent of my arrest, says Naim Murseli.

Defendant in Liridona Ademaj Murder Case Denies Allegations of Communication Issues

During court testimony on Tuesday, Naim Murseli, a defendant in the murder case of Liridona Ademaj, addressed allegations concerning his communication with his children. Murseli maintained that the lack of regular contact with his children stems solely from his current custody situation, not a refusal to communicate. He asserted that his inability to maintain consistent contact is a direct result of his detention.

Murseli stated, “It is even too low that our minor children have allegedly made such a statement.”

The defendant recounted that on the night of the murder, he transferred custody of the children to the Ademaj family. He emphasized that if he were involved in wrongdoing, he would not have taken such an action. Murseli further detailed that the children were interviewed by law enforcement officials on the night of the murder.

He indicated that a police officer inquired about the children’s statements, and another officer confirmed that they were providing similar responses. The testimony centered on the assertion that the children were withholding information, and Murseli vehemently denied any suggestion of wrongdoing or a lack of communication. The investigation continues.
