Nevenka Tromp, the prosecutor for the Hague Tribunal, discussed potential decisions within the Special Chambers regarding the ongoing cases involving Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Rexhep Selimi. Speaking to Express, Tromp outlined three possible scenarios regarding the Special Chambers’ ultimate verdicts. The prosecutor presented these scenarios as a framework for understanding the complexities of the legal proceedings.

The first scenario posits a complete acquittal for all four individuals. Conversely, the second scenario envisions a conviction for each defendant. The third, and most likely according to Tromp, involves a mixed outcome with some individuals convicted while others are acquitted.
