The segment of “Bahri Fazliu” street in Podujevë is closed to traffic due to sewage collector works.

The Municipality of Podujeva has issued an announcement regarding temporary traffic disruptions due to ongoing construction efforts for the black sewage collector project. Authorities have mandated the temporary closure of a specific section of the “Bahri Fazliu” street, effective from the following day. The affected segment runs between the intersection located at the hospital and the junction with “Bajram Krasniqi” street.

To mitigate the impact of this closure on local circulation, several adjustments to the city’s street network have been implemented. One key change involves the reopening of the second segment of “19 Qershori” street. This reopened section will operate between the junction with “Nuhi Gashi” street (situated behind the theater) and the intersection of “Bahri Fazliu” street.

Furthermore, to improve the flow of vehicular traffic during the construction period, “Nuhi Gashi” street, which is normally one-way, will temporarily function as a two-way thoroughfare. The Municipality of Podujeva urges all residents and commuters to exercise heightened caution while navigating the affected streets. These temporary measures are necessary to facilitate the completion of essential infrastructure improvements within the city’s street system.

Drivers are advised to follow all posted signage and alternative routes to ensure safe passage around the designated construction zones.
