The Municipality of Ferizaj has announced the commencement of the third phase of its spatial disinsection project, scheduled to begin on April 10, 2026. The primary objective of this initiative is to control and eliminate flies, bees, and various other insects throughout the municipality’s territory. According to the municipal announcement, the disinsection process will be conducted during the evening hours, commencing at 8:00 PM.
The initial coverage on April 10th will focus specifically on the urban areas of Ferizaj city. The treatment areas for this phase are extensive, encompassing notable locations such as the Freedom Park, “Brahim Ademi” street, and the vicinity of the FSK and the Sports Hall. Furthermore, the treatment will cover several named streets, including “Sali Çeku,” “Naim Beka,” “Epopeja e Jezercit,” “Zenel Hajdini,” and “Enver Topalli” streets.
The scope also includes the Green Market, extending coverage to the village of Nikadin. Additional areas within the eastern side of the city designated for this phase include “Ahmet Kaçiku,” “Rexhep Bislimi,” “Vëllezërit Gërvalla,” “Kadri Zeka,” and “Driton Is” streets. The implementation of this project in Ferizaj aims to improve public sanitation and health standards across the municipality.
