Three active fire outbreaks, four are under control

The Crisis Management Center reported that over the preceding 24-hour period, a total of 31 fires were registered across open areas in North Macedonia. Of these incidents, the situation remains complex, with three fires currently reported as active. Furthermore, four incidents have been brought under control, while the remaining 24 fires have been successfully extinguished.

The active fire zones are geographically dispersed. One major area of concern is located within the Zelenikovë municipality, specifically near the villages of Moranë, Vërtekicë, and Ramni Gaber, extending toward Paligrad and Vrazhale. A second active site involves the municipalities of Gostivar and Makedonski Brod, situated near Tërnovë and heading toward Bitovë and Zagrad.

The third active location is situated in the Çashkë municipality, above the village of Nezhilovë. In terms of controlled incidents, reports indicate stability near the village of Tajmishte in Kumanovo. Additional controlled fires are noted in the Makedonski Brod municipality, positioned between the “Jasen” reserve and Breznicë.

Two other controlled sites include the “Melci” city dump in Kavadar and a dump facility in Delčevo. The data provided offers a detailed overview of the ongoing efforts to manage and contain the multiple fire incidents reported across various regions.
