Three people are detained for attempting to sell a plot of land worth 1.5 million euros in the plain of Kosovo.

Three individuals have been detained for a period of 48 hours following their alleged attempt to register and sell a substantial parcel of land. The property, located in the Sllatinë of Fushë Kosovë, is reported to cover approximately two hectares and is valued at 1 million 550 thousand euros. The Kosovo Police confirmed that the investigation was conducted by specialized units within the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption (DHKEK) in Pristina.

Authorities secured evidence suggesting that the three suspects were involved in criminal activities including fraud, document forgery, and the illegal legalization of false content. According to the police report, the three suspects—identified as M.T., L.Sh., and M.R.—were apprehended while attempting to execute the transaction. Their scheme reportedly involved the falsification of Serbian documents, the deployment of fraudulent paperwork presented as legitimate credentials, and the impersonation of the actual property owner.

The investigation focused on the systematic nature of the deception used to facilitate the sale of the valuable real estate. The detention aims to gather further evidence regarding the network responsible for creating and utilizing these fraudulent materials. The police have stated that the evidence gathered points toward a coordinated effort to circumvent legal property transfer procedures through criminal means.

The case remains under active investigation by economic crime units.
