The majority of those affected were reported to be workers and crew members, many of whom originated from the Philippines. It is believed that the individuals were exposed after inhaling fumes from the chemical. Following the incident at the busy port facility, a total of 155 people underwent immediate medical examinations.
While many of those examined have since been released, 28 remain hospitalized under observation. Among those admitted, one person is currently described as losing consciousness, necessitating continued medical monitoring.
