Tragedy at “Pulse,” Prosecution presents phone evidence

The trial concerning the tragic fire at the Pulse nightclub in Kočan, an incident that resulted in 63 fatalities and injured more than 200 individuals, resumed today within the courtroom at Idrizova prison. The proceedings entered a new phase focused on the presentation of material evidence. During today’s session, the Public Prosecution continued its presentation of evidence, with anticipation surrounding the introduction of transcripts derived from phone communications.

Following this presentation, the prosecution indicated that its remaining evidence portfolio would consist solely of the building’s expert report and testimony provided by various technical experts. Previous hearings have established a substantial record of documentation. During those sessions, numerous official reports and documents were formally entered into the record.

These included detailed inspection reports, certificates pertaining to items temporarily seized by the Ministry of Interior, and official correspondence received from the State Market Service of Shtipë. The continuous presentation of evidence by the prosecution aims to build a comprehensive case regarding the circumstances surrounding the disaster at the pulse facility. The court process continues to systematically review all available materials, ensuring that the entirety of the evidence—from communications records to structural assessments—is considered by the judicial body.
