Triple Homicide in the Accursed Mountain – Suspect Arrested for 72 Hours

Vehid Muriq, a man suspected in connection with the deaths of three individuals, was taken into custody today for questioning following a 72-hour detention order issued by Malian authorities. The order followed the provision of a protective statement. Muriq is suspected of involvement in the homicide of Denis Hoti (28) and Nezrin Hoti (35) from Rozhajë, alongside Kenan Miraljemoviq (56) from Novi Pazari.

The incident occurred overnight between Monday and Tuesday in an apartment located in the “Stari Aerodrom” neighborhood of Podgorica. Initial reports indicate that the deaths constitute a triple homicide. Following a mother’s report, authorities investigated and discovered the bodies of all three victims within a rented apartment on Koza Street.

Investigators believe a cold weapon was used in the commission of the crime. Muriq subsequently traveled to Rozhajë, where he provided a statement to his mother. This statement prompted the immediate investigation and the discovery of the deceased.

Authorities are currently focused on gathering further evidence and determining the full circumstances surrounding this tragic event. The investigation is ongoing, and the timeframe for questioning Muriq is limited to 72 hours.
