Trump warned that Netanyahu’s further attacks could isolate him in conflict with Iran

Former President Donald Trump stated to Axios that he issued a warning to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the potential isolation of Israel should military action against Iran continue. According to reporting cited by Telegrafi, Trump reportedly advised Netanyahu to exercise caution, suggesting that continued escalation could lead to significant diplomatic vulnerability for Israel. Trump also commented on the recent military activity, noting that Israel provided the United States with “very late notice” concerning the attacks on Iran that occurred on Sunday, which have since ceased.

Despite the halt in hostilities, Netanyahu has indicated that further attacks remain a possibility. Trump reportedly urged Netanyahu to reconsider preparations for a major strike against Iran. In addition to intervening in the immediate crisis, Trump mentioned that he is actively working toward a broader agreement aimed at concluding the conflict with Iran.

He added that following the recent attacks, five countries within the region approached him requesting his involvement in mediating discussions between Israel and Netanyahu.
