The Regional Road Communication Unit in Ferizaj has intensified its efforts to enhance traffic safety, resulting in action taken against two drivers following reports of dangerous maneuvers on the road. According to a police statement, on June 1, 2026, traffic police intervened at the highway in the village of Babush. During the stop, officers addressed a driver identified by the initials A.F., aged 26, who was operating a locally-plated BMW 320.

The inspection revealed that the individual was traveling at a speed of 85 km/h in an area where the posted speed limit is 50 km/h. Furthermore, a review of the driver’s documentation revealed that he was subject to a protective order prohibiting him from driving between May 8, 2026, and August 5, 2026. Consequently, a fine was issued to the driver for these infractions.
