Vita responds to Minister Muja: Question the results

The dairy company Vita issued a public response following statements delivered by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Rural Development, Emir Muja, during a recent press conference. In its reaction, Vita specifically requested the official publication of the results stemming from analyses conducted on samples of its products. Via a statement posted on its official Facebook page, Vita addressed the content presented by the minister.

The company asserted that the data points cited by Minister Muja during the conference were, in fact, records already maintained and accessible at several key governmental bodies, including the Kosovo Customs, the Kosovo Tax Administration, and the Kosovo Food and Veterinary Agency (AUVK). The company’s statement noted that while Minister Muja addressed several topics during the session, these issues were merely summaries of existing information. Vita contended that the minister did not introduce any new data or findings during the event.

Consequently, the core element of contention for Vita remains the failure to publish the actual results of the product analyses that were central to the discussion. This exchange highlights a procedural disagreement regarding the dissemination of regulatory information. Vita’s position suggests that while the minister provided an overview, the definitive, published results of the samples remain outstanding, prompting the company to formally request their immediate release to the public record.
