Water is not working with ‘seen’ or even promising, KRU Prishtina sends message to consumer who has a debt of over 2,000 euros

The Regional Water Utility Company, Prishtina, has issued a notice regarding a significant outstanding balance for water services. According to the announcement, a resident residing on Hetem Selmani Street has reportedly failed to make payments for an extended duration, resulting in an accumulated debt amounting to approximately 2,770 euros. Prishtina stated that this prolonged delinquency constitutes a failure to meet utility obligations.

The company warned that continued non-payment will lead to the premature disconnection of the connection to the public water system. The utility emphasized that the provision of water services is contingent upon timely financial settlement, clarifying that the service cannot operate based on promises or assurances alone. The notice addressed the individual, stating that the sustained failure to pay has reached a point where the utility must take action.

The operational guidelines for the water infrastructure mandate that services must be maintained through regular payments. Failure to adhere to these financial requirements means the utility cannot guarantee continuous access to water. The company appealed to the community to relay this information to the resident.

It stressed that while the utility remains available to serve the community, the financial standing of the account must be resolved immediately to prevent service interruption. The core message conveyed by Prishtina is that sustained access to water requires adherence to established payment schedules, and the current debt prevents the continuation of the service.
