The Central Election Commission (CEC) is currently continuing the vote counting process for the Kosovo Assembly elections held on April 7th. Preliminary data indicates that several candidates from major political parties have accumulated significant numbers of votes, reflecting their support at the national level. Analysis of the published data reveals the top ten candidates based on the votes received.
Leading the list is Albin Kurti of LVV, who secured 202,448 votes. Following him is Glauk Konjufca, also from LVV, with 159,156 votes. Bedri Hamza of PDK ranks third, accumulating 100,885 votes, while Albulena Haxhiu of LVV is fourth with 92,727 votes.
The remaining top candidates include Hekuran Murati with 80,160 votes, Donika Gwrvalla – Schwarz from LVV with 75,476 votes, and Vjosa Osmani from LDK – Sadriu with 67,208 votes. Përparim Gruda of PDK holds the seventh position with 62,064 votes, closely followed by Xhelal Sveçla of LVV with 61,136 votes. The tenth spot is occupied by Lumir Abdixhiku.
In addition to the top ten overall, the data also highlights the five most voted women among the leading candidates from the main parties. The continued counting of votes by the CEC provides an initial overview of the support base for the various candidates vying for positions in the Kosovo Assembly.
