The Regional Waste Company “Pastrimi” has issued a directive to all residents, urging them to dispose of all waste properly by utilizing designated containers rather than discarding it in public spaces. The company highlighted instances of improper disposal, citing a significant accumulation of waste along “UÇK” street in the Qafa neighborhood of Pristina. Notably, the company observed that this debris was left on the street despite the proximity of appropriate containers.
A statement from the KRM “Pastrimi” addressed the issue directly, stating, “We ask citizens not to throw waste in public spaces. Waste must be thrown in containers, not on the street or in common areas. All this waste was left on the ‘UÇK’ street in Qafa.
The containers are just a few steps away. This is shameful.”
The company issued a general appeal to the community, emphasizing that maintaining urban cleanliness requires collective effort. Residents are strongly encouraged to adhere to proper waste disposal protocols by using the available containers.
The directive aims to prevent the dumping of refuse in public areas, ensuring that all waste is deposited where it belongs.
