The acting Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Dimal Basha, confirmed that significant reconstruction efforts are underway on the Lame–Kllokoq local road within the Novobërdë municipality. This project is part of a broader commitment to enhancing regional road infrastructure across Kosovo. The scope of the current initiative involves the reconstruction of a 3.4-kilometer segment, backed by an investment value totaling 688 thousand euros.
According to municipal reports, the construction work is advancing according to schedule, with the paving phase anticipated to commence in the coming week. Beyond the structural repairs, the project scope includes the installation of comprehensive horizontal and vertical signaling systems. These additions are intended to substantially increase safety standards for both local residents and general road users navigating the area.
During his announcement, Basha emphasized the ongoing nature of infrastructure investments throughout Kosovo.
