Deputy of PDK, Blerta Deliu-Kodra, announced that her party will not participate in the selection of the new Prime Minister, Albin Kurti. Speaking with the FIVE channel, Deliu-Kodra stated that PDK’s involvement is contingent on the appointment of the President of the Republic. She clarified that the party will remain constructive throughout the process, emphasizing that the selection of the Prime Minister is dependent on specific details.
“PDK is not going to be involved in the process of appointing the new Prime Minister Kurti, because it is a matter of specifics,” Deliu-Kodra stated. Furthermore, Deliu-Kodra criticized the ongoing process surrounding the appointment of the President of the Republic, describing it as an instance of “institutional blunders.” She asserted that this process is unproductive and lacking in constructive engagement. The deputy expressed concerns regarding the current situation, highlighting the interconnectedness of the Prime Minister and President appointments.
