Lawyer Tomë Gashi provided commentary regarding the role of former President Vjosa Osmani, particularly in light of the decree that dissolved the Parliament earlier this year, and concerning statements she has made during her tenure as president. Gashi stated that several declarations issued following the dissolution of the Parliament are significant, leading him to question the current stability of the president’s position amidst the country’s developments. He highlighted a perceived inconsistency in Osmani’s public engagement.

Gashi noted that during her approximate five-year term in office, Osmani did not publicly comment on several issues that she is now addressing. He remarked, “Because all of these things that have been done after the decree dissolving the parliament are serious statements. The comments suggest that Gashi views the post-dissolution statements as weighty and potentially indicative of underlying political instability concerning the office of the president.

His remarks draw a contrast between her current public pronouncements and her previous silence on the same matters during her time serving as president.
