Central Labor Inspectorate Conducts Intensive Inspections Across Kosovo

The Central Labor Inspectorate, acting under the decision of the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare and its legal authority, has concluded a targeted inspection action across high-risk sectors within the Republic of Kosovo. The 48-hour report, released today, summarizes the findings from the sixth day of inspections as part of this ongoing initiative. During the inspections, a total of 41 workplaces were examined.

Sixteen workplaces were temporarily closed, while eight were permitted to continue operations. The inspections primarily focused on the construction sector, with 100% of inspections conducted within this industry. According to the report, the number of work stoppages directly correlates with the total number of counterclaims raised.

The inspectorate’s actions are intended to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations throughout the territory.
