The Minister of Energy, Hristijan Mickoski, has stated a target of no more than 4 euros per kilowatt-hour for household electricity prices. This follows recent adjustments set by the Commission for the Regulation of Energy in the Republic of Kosovo (KRRE). The KRRE has established electricity prices for households at 2 euros per kilowatt-hour and natural gas prices at 1 euro per kilowatt-hour.
Additionally, the KRRE has also determined natural gas prices at 2 euros per kilowatt-hour and electricity prices at 3 euros per kilowatt-hour. These pricing structures remain in effect. Mickoski’s stated goal aligns with the KRRE’s current pricing framework, specifically targeting a maximum of 4 euros for electricity and 2 euros for natural gas for households.
