Shormaz: Orban is not interested in the Russian politics, Vuçiq is planning to make a comeback in the political scene

Hungarian opposition leaders Peter Madar and Aleksandar Vučić have expressed support for Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s plan to expand gas supplies to Europe. They are advocating for the release of information regarding this initiative, aiming to potentially impact the outcome of upcoming parliamentary elections in Hungary. The “Balkan Express,” a significant Serbian-Hungarian gas supply agreement, has been described as potentially explosive and a threat to Orban’s “Vogel’s dream,” a reference to his broader energy strategy.

Concerns have been raised about the agreement’s impact on Serbia’s relationship with Euro-Atlantic nations, as highlighted by Dragan Šormaz, the head of RTK Live, a broadcast focusing on these relations. Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has also voiced support for Orban’s approach to expanding European gas supplies. Serbian officials are seeking to disclose information related to the “Balkan Express” agreement, with the stated goal of influencing the results of the Hungarian parliamentary elections.

The “Balkan Express” is a large-scale gas supply project between Serbia and Hungary.
