The Administrative Court dismisses the lawsuit against the Municipality of Pristina, Rama responds to the LVV: Blocker in power, blocker in opposition

The Kosovo Administrative Court dismissed a lawsuit initiated by the Government of Kosovo, specifically the Ministry of Local Government Administration (MAPL), against the Municipality of Pristina. The ruling, issued on February 15, 2026, addressed a dispute concerning a municipal decision regarding the amendment of a prior ruling. The court declined the plaintiff’s request to annul Pristina Municipality’s decision number 14.030/01.21504/24.

This decision, dated February 8, 2024, pertained to the modification of a decision originally issued with protocol number 01-031-13761 on January 19, 2016. In its judgment, the court noted that the plaintiff failed to provide adequate facts or evidence to substantiate the claims made in the lawsuit. Furthermore, the administrative court determined that the proper administrative procedures had been followed by the municipality in question.

Consequently, the lawsuit filed by the Government of Kosovo was rejected, upholding the validity of the municipal decision. This ruling confirms the administrative standing of the Municipality of Pristina in this specific matter before the court.
