Three Skopje residents are deprived of their freedom for theft; police find the goods in their vehicle in Veles

Police officers from the Veles Directorate of Special Police (SPB) detained three individuals—S.S. (32), M.H. (22), and B.J.

(19)—yesterday at 12:30 PM in Veles. All three detained men were reportedly residents of Skopje. The initial report came from a 39-year-old woman in Veles.

She stated that she observed two men leaving the premises where she was working, noting that a significant quantity of goods was present. When she moved toward the men, they had already fled the scene, entering a passenger vehicle and departing. The complainant reported that several items had been taken from the location.

Acting immediately, the Veles SPB officers initiated an investigation. The police located and stopped a “Golf” passenger vehicle bearing Skopje license plates. The vehicle was being driven by S.S., with M.H.

and B.J. occupying the passenger seats. During the subsequent inspection of the vehicle, the police discovered the stolen items within the car.

The apprehension followed the initial report of theft. The investigation confirmed that the items taken from the premises were recovered from the vehicle belonging to the detained men. The police confirmed that the recovered goods were consistent with the items reported missing by the complainant.

The incident underscores the ongoing efforts of the police to address theft and maintain order within the Veles community.
