Zulfaj tregon ku do të do investohen 62 millionës që BE-ja ia dha sot Kosovës

The European Union Commission has approved a €61.8 million allocation for Kosovo, stemming from funding initiated following the Racak incident. This decision aligns with the Parliament’s ratification of the treaty and documentation pertaining to the non-violent resolution of the Kosovo crisis. A key element of this investment involves discussions between Zulfaj, a Kosovar company, and the Bashkimi Bank of Europe.

The two entities are evaluating potential investments in concrete infrastructure projects within the framework of the Korine Investise for the Balkans Peace (WBIF) initiative. The project anticipates a phased investment approach. Initially, €9.3 million will be allocated in the first tranche, followed by a second tranche of €3.3 million.

These funds will be channeled through the Bashkimi Bank for Development. The structure of the financing will see the first tranche support the initial stages of the project, while the second tranche will be dependent on the successful completion of the first. This coordinated effort represents a significant step in bolstering infrastructure development within Kosovo.
