The Ferizaj Regional Police conducted field operations aimed at improving overall communication safety within the community. According to the official police report, the past 24 hours saw the documentation of four separate traffic accidents. These incidents resulted in two reported injuries and two instances of material damage requiring police attention.
In conjunction with investigating the accidents, law enforcement issued a total of 284 fines for various violations of traffic regulations. The citations were distributed across several categories, indicating widespread non-compliance. The highest number of fines were issued for speeding, totaling 94, followed by 52 fines for illegal parking.
Further violations included 24 fines for operating vehicles with expired registrations, 21 fines for disregarding traffic signs, and 10 fines for using mobile phones while driving. Additionally, 9 fines were recorded for driving without a proper license or failing to utilize a seatbelt. These figures represent the primary violations, alongside 70 other miscellaneous infractions.
As a direct result of serious traffic rule violations observed during the operations, the police confiscated several items. Authorities seized four cars, six scooters or motorcycles, and three driver’s licenses. These enforcement measures underscore the regional police’s commitment to maintaining safety standards on local roadways.
The comprehensive operation highlights the ongoing effort to deter unsafe driving practices and enhance public safety through strict adherence to traffic laws.
